Unlock Peak Performance

Have you ever thought about how you can help those around you perform at their best?  In the book Bringing Out the Best in Others by Thomas Connellan, he discusses three keys to help leaders, parents, coaches, and educators do just that.
Based on his research, Connellan discoverd three keys common to 21 of the first 23 astronauts, 45 percent of the female world leaders between 1960 and 1999, 55 percent of Supreme Court justices, 2/3 of the people listed in Who’s Who, and over half of the U.S. Presidents.
These three factors may be things you already do today, but never really knew how they impacted others.  They can make a big difference at moving average performers to peak performers by unlocking their true potential.
“Not everyone can be great, but everyone can be better.  Our job is to help people improve.”   – Thomas Connellan
Are you curious as to what those three keys are?  It’s not rocket science and anyone is capable of doing them.
They are:
Set and Communicate Expectations
Establish Accountability
Provide Feedback
Of course, it’s not just randomly doing them.  It requires being positive, being committed, and following through.  Being aware and knowing is just the start to unlocking others peak performance.  What will be your next steps?
